Would you rather be royal or Kanye West?
Right now, New Zealand teen sensation Lorde would rather be Kanye West, well at least during her iHeartRadio performance. The breakout 16-year-old starlet covered Kanye’s Yeezus track “Hold My Liquor” during New Zealand’s iHeartRadio concert.
Lorde first burst onto the U.S. music scene with her indie pop smash “Royals,” which has been covered by The Weeknd, Selena Gomez, and Philly rapper Gilbere Forte.
After selling out her very first show in New York City last month, the “Royals” songstress is gearing up to release her debut album, Pure Heroine, which is scheduled to drop September 30.
