Wale made headlines this past Friday when Complex released an audio recording of the “Bad” rapper threatening them after he failed to make the cut on their 50 Best Albums of 2013 list.
After the audio was released, Wale posted an Instagram video joking about the incident, but didn’t address why he became so explosive. The “LoveHate Thing” rapper stopped by Hot 97 to speak with the station’s Program Director Ebro and hip-hop snob Peter Rosenberg to discuss his beef with Complex and explain why he threatened their staff.
It’s been reported that Wale and his labelmate Philly rapper Meek Mill are currently in the studio working on a collaborative project. The forthcoming collaboration still has no release date.
