We reported a couple days ago that after all the drama that occurred on Thanksgiving Day, Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have finally come to an agreement in their custody battle over their daughter Nahla and now it appears the two may have become even more chummy with one another.
The actresss and her soon to be husband are reportedly covering all of her ex's legal and medical bills. Radar Online reports:
The settlement that was reached between Halle and Gabe in the aftermath of his arrest for allegedly getting into a fight with Olivier Martinez, includes an agreement that the couple will pay for the Canadian model's legal and medical bills. Without admitting ANY guilt, Olivier agreed to pay for Gabe's medical bills because he suffered the brunt of the injuries from the fight.
It seems this trio has made a peace treaty. According to reports Gabriel won't be pressing charges against Olivier Martinez either.
A source tells the site:
"Gabe has agreed to drop legal proceedings for the temporary restraining order against Olivier to be made permanent. Gabe suffered horrific injuries from the fight, but as part of the settlement he reached with Halle on Thursday he agreed to drop the bid for the permanent restraining order. Gabe feels that there are enough layers of protection in the settlement agreement that will protect him and Nahla in the future."
Also Gabe won't have to worry about running into Olivier for a round two anytime soon. A source also tells Radar Online:
"Olivier will NOT be present in the future during the times that Nahla is dropped off and picked up between Gabriel and Halle. This was very important to Gabe going forward because he feared for his safety. Gabe was supposed to have Nahla on Thanksgiving, according to their custody agreement, but Halle asked if she could have the little girl that day and Gabe said yes. He had no obligation to do so, but he had been acting in good faith and knew it meant a lot to Halle, so he did it. Gabe was absolutely blindsided by Olivier and his rage."
It sounds like these folks have finally come to a mutual understanding and cordialness and we're hoping that it last.
