This doesn’t look too good considering Kobe Bryant makes about $25M a year from his NBA contract, combined with his endsorsement deals, which includes his new role as Mercedes-Benz’s Smart Car Brand pitchman, estimated reports rank Kobe’s networth in at about $200-300M.

The Laker’s guard was the second highest-paid athlete in the world this year with earnings of $53M. Forbes believes he’s racked up $200M in salary from the Lakers during his career and another $250M from endorsements. Even after Uncle Sam, his agent and others have taken their cut, he’s still raking in a hefty nine figure salary.
Needless to say, Vanessa is about to get paid. Filing for divorce on Friday, December 16, citing “irreconcilable differences,” the couple has asked for privacy during this difficult time.
