While some people are dressing up as Karl Lagerfeld for Halloween, the designer is channeling a busy bee. Not literally, but Lagerfeld has had his hands in a multitude of ventures as of late, as per usual.
Last week the Chanel designer announced plans to launch a masstige line named Karl, as well as a high fashion designer collection.

Now, news has surfaced that Lagerfeld is collaborating with an unlikely source for his collection: Fossil. Yes, like the watch brand Fossil.
The announcement of the collaboration was made last Wednesday, and Vice Chairman of Fossil, Mark Quick said in a statement, “We look forward to working with Karl Lagerfeld. It is a pleasure to work with such an inspiring fashion visionary.”
Sadly, the first collection of watches doesn’t launch until Spring 2013, so, for now, we will have to hold tight for a look book that illustrates the unlikely fusion of these two brands.
