A lot of people don’t know that Michael Jordan is into motorcycles, like really into motorcycles. So much so that he has his own Jordan Motorsports team that gets a special bike each year, designed to look like one of Michael’s signature kicks.
Although the motorcycle designs aren’t always in chronological order, this year the latest Air Jordan to be released actually is the inspiration for the bike.

In celebration of their 10th anniversary, Michael Jordan Motorsports debuted the team’s latest motorcycle colorways, inspired by the Air Jordan XX8. AMA Superbike riders Danny Eslick and Roger Lee Hayden will ride the #23 Jordan Suzuki GSX-R1000 and #54 National Guard Jordan Suzuki GSX-R1000, respectively. Both bikes are painted to mimic the pattern on the Air Jordan XX8 “Blue Camo” shroud.

Unlike Michael Jordan’s signature Air Jordan sneakers, the Air Jordan inspired bikes will not be available for purchase. The bikes will run in MJM’s inaugural Daytona Beach 200, but if you would like to see pictures of the bikes now, check out the gallery above!
