First of all I would like to congratulate Wiz Khalifa for being named ‘Hottest Breakthrough MC of 2010’. He really deserved it after releasing his critically acclaimed mixtape ‘Kush & Orange Juice’, earlier this year. For those who don’t know Khalifa, please get familiar. Khalifa was featured on XXL Magizines Top 10 Freshman list in 2009. His first mixtape was released in 2005 and he’s recieved many accolades for his music.
Khalifa is probably most known for his hit single ‘Say Yeah’ released in late 2007. Khalifa’s defining moment is earlier this year, with the release of ‘Kush & Orange Juice’. The mixtape was so anticipated it was the number one trending topic on Twitter. That’s a pretty big accomplishment. Since then, Khalifa has gained even more devoted fans. He was featured on the remix of Rick Ross’ song ‘Super High’ along with Curren$y.
So will this huge accolade make Khalifa even bigger? I honestly think the will make him gain more devoted fans. I think eventually Khalifa will be one of the top rappers in Hip-Hop. I’m just so excited for Wiz and I can’t wait to see what he does next. Do you think Wiz Khalifa will be the next ‘Best Rapper Alive’?
