SWAG! Just a few days after his sold-out, very rare show at Santo’s Party House in New York City, Lil’ B the Based God has blessed us with another hot track. Mel Gibson has been in the news a lot recently, so it comes as no surprise that B would draw inspiration from him for this track, spitting ‘I’m Mel Gibson…Bitches on my dick ‘cuz I fuck em’ like an actor! WOOH!’ There’s no word on whether ‘Mel Gibson’ will make the cut on B’s new album/mixtape, Black Ken, but we’re sure he’s shooting a very based video for it as we speak.
Regardless of what you think about his music or skills as an emcee, Lil’ B is proving himself to have more staying power than most people originally thought. As we mentioned, he sold out Santo’s this weekend, and also got cosigns from Just Blaze, and Diddy himself (who made reference to B’s ‘let that boy cook’ via twitter). The sold-out crowd went bonkers for B, rapping along every word as he performed tracks like ‘Violate That Bitch,’ ‘I’m God,’ and ‘Like A Martian.’ Juding by the reaction of the crowd at Santo’s, we’re going to be seeing a lot more of The Based One in the months to come. He may just hip-hop’s next big star. Let that boy cook!
