The singer’s influence and impact on our culture has remained strong in the years since she’s passed, with artist from Ciara to Drake citing her as a major influence. Dame Dash, Aaliyah’s fiance at the time of her death, has announced plans to host an Aaliyah-inspired art exhibit at his Dash Gallery in New York. Submissions are being accepted until November 1, so if you think you can create something that captures the essence of Aaliyah be sure to submit it!
