In the month of September, President Obama gave a speech to the United Nations concerning Middle East peace talks and the future of our military; Iran’s Nuclear Program; and the steps that have been and will be taken to help the global economy recover.

He held the Congressional Black Caucus and a Congressional Hispanic Caucus. He acknowledge that black and hispanic communities, already struggling economically, have been hit hard by the recession and the recovery has been slow. He urged them to return to their communities and tell everyone there is work to be done to help the process move quicker.

On 9/11 he gave a memorial speech urging religious tolerance and held a press conference on Foreign Relations detailing his plans for peace talks in the middle east to kick off at the end of September.

Between all of the talking, Obama also declared September as National Prostate Cancer month AND National Wilderness month.

On the NEXT PAGES you’ll find pictures of the President in action at the White House.
