He is a truly inspirational man who achieved his goal of transforming his love for art. His goal was to “go from canvases to faces’ and without limiting himself, he did just that. Sir John is a makeup artist who’s been experimenting with art since the tender age of 6. His love for it only continued to grow thereafter. He went on to partake in visual arts in high school and went to college to study art history. So, it’s no secret that he knew this was his destiny.

A lot of his inspiration derives from the 30’s and 60’s, referring to the 30’s as the “pentacle of beauty”. His appreciate for beauty and the art of using the human face as his personal canvas showcases his talent. Sir John has worked professionally, doing makeup for fashion shows for designers like Yves St Laurent and Balenciaga. He isn’t afraid to take the ordinary and turn it into something bold and personal. He definitely takes on his new role as a leader of The New School.
