What’s up, GlobalGrind? It’s ya’ boy Ray Ray!
I just wanted to tell you guys about my first ever MTV Video Music Awards. It was definitely an experience of a lifetime. When we first arrived I didn’t know what to expect.
The whole time in the car on the way over there, Prodigy, Roc, and Princeton were laughing, talking, and listening to music, I was envisioning all the things I thought could happen. Like what if I fell on the red carpet (lol!) in front of all the cameras but it was nothing like I thought when we first arrived there were so many people, rushing around.

Camera people were yelling at all the artist on the carpet it was crazy I was getting more and more excited. The carpet wasn’t red it was white and I loved it because it because we matched the carpet and didn’t even know it. Looked really cool.
The big Moon Man was walking around greeting everybody, and immediately we started taking pics. I met so many cool people that I never thought I would see like Travie McCoy, and Sean Kingston, who were both really cool dudes. We did a lot of interviews too that was really fun and the energy from the fans in the crowd was amazing. All the girls were screaming constantly.
What surprised me most on the carpet was how many bodyguards Birdman had I couldn’t believe it. The best part of the carpet for me though was finally meeting my idol, DRAKE.

Since I’ve been in Mindless Behavior I used to say I couldn’t wait to meet Drake, I didn’t think I would meet him so fast. He was super cool, I stood right next to him while Nicki Minaj was performing, who is even more beautiful in person, by the way. We met the whole Young Money crew it was cool to meet Lil Twist because he’s young and new in the game like us.
Once we went inside to see the show I was even more excited because I was anxious to see all the performances. On the way in Katy Perry stopped us and said we were adorable I wanted to tell her how beautiful she looked, but she was rushing past.
All the performances were great my favorite was Drake and Usher, Kanye West and Taylor Swift had a good show too. Overall it was an incredible night one that I will remember forever. I can’t wait until next year!!! Hopefully we’ll be on that stage behind Usher!
