Rapper Diamond first got her start in 2004 rapping with Crime Mob on their single, Knuck If You Buck which eventually went platinum.  The single was followed by Rock Your Hips which went to #5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Rap Tracks and created some in da club fare for club heads to get crunk to.

However, the latest song from Diamond, Hit Dat Hoe, could quite possibly be the most misogynistic and ignorant Hip-Hop song ever.  We get the Brook Valentine Girl Fight touch on Diamond’s verses but the fact she invited rapper Waka Flocka to join in on “hittin a hoe” completely takes away any taste the song has.

If you like to get “Fancy” and go to the club to destroy your new gear, this is the song for you. The rest of us who like to remain fresh throughout will probably hit our knees tonight and pray that songs like this don’t give any ideas about disrupting our networking and macking game.

Diamond has recently been signed to Battery Records/Jive with Senior VP of Battery Records, Neil Levine adding, “Her ability to constantly evolve makes her an exciting and remarkable artist that has proven that she can shine as a solo artist.”  Well if this is the future evolution of Hip-Hop we want our money back… What do you think?
