The June issue of V magazine should be an interesting collector’s item as the magazine features some of the industry’s top working Asian models in its All Asian Issue.
The new edition of the fashion bible isn’t in response to the lack of Asian presence on the runway, rather it is in flux with the demand for them, capitalizing on the Asian Rush and the further opening of the Chinese market.
The magazine tapped Liu Wen, Fei Fei Fun, Shu Pei and Tao Akamoto, the new it-girls and global ambassadors for cosmetic companies like L’Oreal.
