Consider this the end of the Charlie Sheen drama because as of now, it looks like it’s Ashton Kutcher who is, duh, winning! TMZ reports that the “Punk’d” star has signed his deal to join the cast of “Two and a Half Men.” We hear Ashton will be making around half of Charlie’s almost 2 million dollars an episode.
Ashton himself has got in on the act, tweeting, “What’s the square root of 6.25?” It’s 2.5, yes we did the math. X equals 2.5 which equals two and a half which means Ashton is back on Television.”
Now, Ashton won’t become Charlie’s character a la Vivian in the “Fresh Prince of Bel Air,” instead “Two and a Half Men” creator Chuck Lorre has developed a write-in that seems to work for CBS and everyone involved.
This won’t be the first time a sitcom has jumped ship mid-series. It’s happened to “Three’s Company,” “Bewitched” and many other shows. Can’t wait to see Ashton back on TV, this should be good. How much are you looking forward to it?
