If you’re reading this blog, then the world did not crumble into a pile of dust.
People in America are still unemployed, Barack Obama is still the Black president, Muhammad Ali is still the greatest and a large percentage of people think Tupac is still alive. Granted, some of those people think Bin Laden is still alive and Jay-Z is in the Illuminati, but the insanity of the world shall never be stopped!
That’s the issue, insanity. We are so quick to wish for our own fiery end, that we jump on the most outrageous claims we hear. Well, we don’t want our last words to come in a fiery blaze of earthquakes and judgement. Only God can judge us now and he will decide when that day comes, not some old man with a radio show!
Stop jumping on the death bandwagon and live. Use your powerful minds to think of all the things you can do because if you are reading this post, than you just received a second chance at life.
Another chance to break out of the fuckery that is the hysteria of this world. Use the very power of words, that have ignited fear and mayhem in the hearts of people all across the words. His words have proved to be powerful, but they have proved to be wrong.
So go do the things you want to do, because when 2012 rolls around and we find out that the Mayans just got tired of updating their calendar and we live to see 2013, 2014, 2015 and beyond, we will know that we are here to stay and that the world according to hip-pop can continue to be painted by her, him, you, me, we and us.
