WHAT: There is yet another teaser of Weezy’s upcoming episode of “Unplugged.” In a 10 second teaser of his performance of the track “Nightmares Of The Bottom” from his album “Carter IV.” The episode will air this Sunday (June 12) on MTV2 at 9pm EST.

WHAT: Singer Joss Stone is preparing for the release of her fifth studio album titled “LP1.” The track “Somehow,” which is rumored to be the album’s lead single leaked this week. She croons “Somehow, I’d like to get to know him” in her signature raspy voice accompanied by background acoustics blending together to form an overall funky-sounding track.

WHAT: Jennifer Hudson performed on the “Good Morning America” Summer Concert Series at Central Park. Hudson sang a few of her hits including the popular “Spotlight.” She also spoke about her upcoming memoir which chronicles the story of her weight loss in addition to speaking about her roles in “The Three Stooges” and a film produced by Alicia Keys.



WHAT: seems to be having difficulties remembering the lyrics to songs lately and decided to jog his memory in a technologically savvy yet unprofessional way. During the Black Eyed Peas’ performance with Stromae on the French television show “Taratata,” took out his Blackberry and began reading lyrics when words failed him and continued throughout to do so throughout the performance.  However, he managed to remember the lyrics “now baby don’t you stop it.” The group performed a mashup of Stromae’s Euro hit “Alors on Danse” and the Black Eyed Peas’ “Don’t Stop The Party.”



WHAT: T.I., who is currently serving time for violating probation, reached out to his fans by writing a letter.

“I can’t even begin to tell y’all how much being on the outside looking in, having to witness all that’s going on (and not going on) in the game affects me,” wrote T.I. “Not being able to do what I love especially. It’s like a whole other sentence within itself. But I really do appreciate all the love, respect, shout outs and salutations during this very difficult period in my life.” In addition, he will be releasing a track in the new few weeks. Having reflected on his life, he came to a few conclusions. “But none of them is as strong as my determination to conquer my own imperfections and my will to WIN NO MATTER WHAT!!!” he wrote.
