Los Angeles, California derived group Best Coast have stuck to their roots by making “Cali style” indie pop music. Lead singer and songwriter Bethany Cosentino, multi-instrumentalist Bobb Bruno and drummer Ali Koehler have been making their garage/indie pop music since 2009.
The band is signed to Mexican Summer in the U.S. and Wichita Records in Europe. After their European record label released their debut album “Crazy For You” last summer, the band has been getting recognition and positive feedback everywhere.
“Crazy For You” landed at #39 in Pitchfork’s list “Top 50 Albums of 2010.”
