Are Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan engaged? According to Bill Gates they are.
During an interview Bill Gates talked about Mark Zuckerberg’s large donation to Newark saying, “His fiancée Priscilla thought about education and he gave money to Newark, New Jersey, and we did a co-grant so that some of our people who had some expertise in that field could help him out.”
Wow! Fiancee? Mark and Priscilla have been dating for about 7 years, but only recently announced they were seeing each other in March of 2011. So did Priscilla Chan bag the mighty Mark Zuckerberg, or did Bill Gates make a small mistake?
Either way, here is what we know about Priscilla. The two met while standing on line for the bathroom at a Jewish frat party and struck up a conversation because, “He had these beer glasses that said ‘pound include beer dot H.’ It’s a tag for C++. It’s like college humor but with a nerdy, computer-science appeal,” Chan recalls.
While that story might be sweet, we know of a one a bit sweeter. After Mark left Harvard to focus on Facebook, he offered his girlfriend a job, she in turned accepted and offered him a Twizzler.
In case you’re wondering how to date a billionaire, Chan demands that Zuckerberg, spends, “a minimum of a hundred minutes of alone time, not in his apartment, and definitely not at Facebook,” because Mark is a workaholic.
At the end of the day, these two seem made for each other, whether chilling on a farm, a yacht or dressing up in traditional Indian garb, these two are the perfect pair.
