Forbes Highest Paid Musicians list is in, and my oh my, our favorite artists are getting paid!

To make the cut on any Forbes list, you basically have to be extremely talented, financially intelligent and a modern day boss of your own empire. 

GlobalGrind rounded up the hottest hip-pop artists who made the cut out of 25 international musicians. Everyone from Lady Gaga who was a leader of the pack, to Rihanna rounded out the top 25 strong.

Brooklyn-bred rapper Jay-Z hustled his way to the top. Whether it was by rapping, investing in clothing lines and liquor labels, or aligning himself with the right people, Jay-Z made it happen. 

From hustling in the project hallways to sitting next to Warren Buffett, Jay-Z has been a reigning hip-hop artist who has consistently made the cut on a plethora of Forbes lists. 

Coming in at number 17, Jay-Z brought in $37 million last year, but if you include his wife Beyonce’s income from they’ve both brought in about $73 million dollars last year.

Country-pop star Taylor Swift swings in at number 13 with an income of $45 million.

The masters of modern-day pop, the Black Eyed Peas chime in at number 7 with an income of $61 million.

R&B diva Beyonce tied at the number 18 spot with $35 million being her lucky number.

R&B singer Usher comes in at number 12 with $46 million under his belt.

“Baby” singer Justin Bieber comes in at number 9 with $53 million as his lucky number.

Lady Gaga has been the leader of the Forbes Most Powerful list, but she clocks in at number 4 with an income of $90 million.

Red hot Rihanna rounds out the Forbes 25 highest paid musicians at number 25. Rihanna’s income rang in at $29.

Diddy tied with Beyonce at the number 18 spot with an income of $35 million as well.

Katy Perry‘s lucky number has lots of 4s in it. She ranked number 14 on the list with an income of $44 million.
