U2, Coldplay,Jessie J and Tinie Tempah were among the artists who came out to perform at the Glastonbury Festival at Worthy Farm, Pilton in Glastonbury, England. And Jay-Z was on hand to watch his homeboy, Chris Martin. And Jessie J had to come out carried on a throne as he left foot was in a cast.
The festival, which started in 1970 when several hundred hippies paid 1 GBP to watch Marc Bolan, has grown into Europe’s largest music festival attracting more than 175,000 people over five days. Crazy!
Fans rocked ponchos as they checked out their favorite artists in the rain during the music festival overseas.
Beyonce is set to take the main stage at Glastonbury as the closing act, hoping to repeat husband Jay-Z’s success in 2008 as he was the headliner. Fans are hoping Jay has a cameo during his wife’s performance, or maybe even a Destiny’s Child reunion. Stay tuned to find out!
