DJ Kaskade organized a block party via his Twitter outside Mann’s Chinese theater in Hollywood to celebrate the premiere of a documentary about the Electric Daisy Carnival.
Things turned ugly as a mob scene refused to disperse from the scene, leading Los Angeles police to begin cracking heads.

An impromptu music block party thrown by DJ Kaskade outside the premiere of a movie about the Electric Daisy Carnival turned into a mob scene Wednesday night, when the crowd refused to disperse.
Kaskade announced the event Wednesday afternoon via Twitter: “Today@6pm in Hollywood @Mann’s Chinese Theatre. ME+BIG SPEAKERS+MUSIC=BLOCK PARTY!!! RT!”
The premiere of the Electric Daisy Carnival Experience — billed as the film version of a rave — was happening at the same location
