In January, Regis Philbin announced that after 28 years of co-hosting, he will be leaving Live With Regis And Kelly. Today, the television icon announced on this morning’s show that his last day will be November 18th.
Regis told the audience “Friday, Nov. 18 is my last day,” and added “But don’t worry, the show goes on.”
The soon to be 80-year-old legend also told Access Hollywood he would like Tom Bergeron to take his spot, stating “Why not Bergeron? What is he doing? Tom Bergeron is not doing anything!”
