If you didn’t know, the number 1 draft pick is the son of Cecil Newton Sr., who played strong safety for two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, and the younger brother of Cecil Newton Jr., a center for the New Orleans Saints.

Now Cam is setting records, as he put up 422 passing yards against the Arizona Cardinals, the most from any rookie EVER in his NFL opener.
Right afterward, Cam’s jersey sales predictably went through the roof.
A rep for the team reported to TMZ that there was a “significant increase” in demand for Newton jerseys on Monday. “We have sold out of some sizes and styles and have had to order more,” they added.
