The Griffins brought us into their household in 1999 as one of the most controversial shows on television. Between the vulgar humor and the comedic flashbacks that make us say “That is so true!” we love the dysfunction that Peter, Lois, Chris, Stewie, Brian, and even Meg show us each week.
Although there are talks of a big-screen movie in the works, the creator, Seth MacFarlane, recently revealed that he believed the show should have ended quite some time ago.

The Huffington Post reports:
“Part of me thinks that ‘Family Guy’ should have already ended. I think seven seasons is about the right lifespan for a TV series,” he said — the show is now on its seventh season, after having been canceled in 2001 and brought back in 2004. “I talk to the fans and in a way I’m kind of secretly hoping for them to say we’re done with it. There are plenty of people who say the show is kind of over the hill… but still the vast majority go pale in the face when I mention the possibility.”
