CONTEST RULES AND LEGAL DISCLAIMER
GlobalGrind.com, its staff and its owners reserve sole and final judgment as to all matters concerning contests and interpretation of contest rules. By entering any contest on GlobalGrind.com, you agree to abide by the following terms.
Eligibility. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OUR CONTESTS. Person(s) under the age of 18 (as of time of entry) must have their parents’ and/or legal guardians’ consent to enter Contest. You should keep your email address current — if we cannot reach you by email, you forfeit your winner’s status without compensation of any kind.
Contests are open only to legal U.S. residents, 13 or over, except employees of Rush Communications and GG Digital, entities supplying contest prizes and the families of those employees, as well as any employees of additional sponsors (if any) and the families of those employees. GlobalGrind.com will accept only 1 entry per person or email address. Entry must be your original work and created specifically for the contest in strict accordance with contest entry guidelines. Use of programs, bots or automated entry methods is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In event of dispute, entry will be deemed made by owner of email address used to submit entry.
Contest Deadline. All entries must be submitted on or before 11:59am EDT on May 3rd, 2010 (with our computer functioning as the official clock).
Winner Selection and Notification. The decisions made by us regarding each contest are final and binding in all respects. Approximately 3 business days after the Contest Deadline, GlobalGrind.com (which may include Russell Simmons; however, GlobalGrind.com shall have no liability if it does not) will choose a winner at random from all eligible entries received. While the odds of winning vary from contest to contest, the odds of winning generally depend on the number of eligible entries received. We will contact winner(s) by email – and only by email — to confirm winnings. If winner is under 18, we may award prize in the name of or to winner’s parent or legal guardian.
Winner Disqualification. If an email is returned as undeliverable or if, for any other reason, a winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made to notify the winner of the prize, the winner forfeits all rights to the prize without compensation of any kind. Depending on the prize won, winner (if minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and release within a specified time period as a condition of prize award. Failure to return such document will result in forfeiture of all rights to the prize without compensation of any kind.
General Conditions. Contest void where prohibited by law. Entries deemed by GlobalGrind.com in its sole discretion as irrelevant, potentially infringing the rights of third parties, potentially libelous or inflammatory will not be posted or will be removed from posting (as applicable), as well as being disqualified from the Contest. All taxes on any prize won are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes are not transferable.
