Celeb friends such as Jay-Z, Diddy and Will Smith gathered yesterday, November 17, and today, November 18, to remember and celebrate the life of Heavy D.
President Barack Obama even paid his respects.
Legendary rapper Heavy D died earlier this month at the age of 44 in Los Angeles. His autopsy report released last week proved inconclusive.

President Barack Obama sent his condolences to Heavy D via a letter to Heavy’s 11-year-old daughter.
Rev. Al Sharpton briefly read the letter saying:
“Please know that you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.”
