Legendary rapper Heavy D, born Dwight Arrington Myers, died last week at a Los Angeles hospital after collapsing outside his home at the age of 44. His autopsy report released last week proved inconclusive.

Since Heavy’s death, waves of support and prayers have been coming in via Twitter and Facebook. Sean Diddy Combs tweeted yesterday:

‘Heavy D is the person who gave me my first chance in the music industry,’ he revealed.

‘He got me my internship at Uptown. He Believed when no one else did. My Heart is Broken. Pls pray for my man Heavy D and his Family. PLS #RipHeavyD love you Boy. 4ever’
