Vikter Duplaix has released a new collab with rap phenom Common by the name of Morning Fun. For those unfamiliar with Vikter Duplaix, he is a multi instrumentalist and has performed on releases from Erykah Badu, Jamiroquai, Me’Shell Ndegeocello, Eric Benet and others. His 2006 album Bold and Beautiful yielded the song Make A Baby, that was nominated for a Grammy in 2008 for Best Urban-Alternative Performance.
Being a native of Philadelphia and being raised in James Brown’s hometown Augusta, Georgia, the soul singer forges ahead and releases his latest track, Morning Fun. The track melds both electronic and authentic soul together in a catchy and danceable tune with an assist from Common.
