NBA baller Blake Griffin brings his killer abs and dunk skills to the January/February 2012 cover of Men’s Health magazine.

STORY: Blake Griffin Wins Dunk Contest At 2011 NBA All Star Weekend!

The 22-year-old NBA 2011 All Star Champ tells the mag all about his exercise routine, being labeled a dunker and his proudest moment of last season.

Here’s an excerpt from the 2009 NBA #1 draft’s interview:

When Griffin made his NBA debut last season, he registered 20 points and 14 rebounds in his very first game. Within weeks he had established himself as a force in the post and a revelation above it, his dunks making him a stock character on SportsCenter. When the All-Star break arrived, Griffin became the first rookie to make the team since Yao Ming in 2003. Then he won the Slam Dunk Contest by jumping over a car. For the season he averaged 22.5 points and 12.1 boards, reinvigorated the NBA’s most pathetic franchise, and was unanimously voted Rookie of the Year. His impact was so profound that former Warriors coach Keith Smart told the San Francisco Chronicle, “I don’t think we’ve ever seen a guy whose energy level is that high.” Griffin aims to keep it that way.

“Energy is something you can control,” he says. “In everything you do, you’re going to face people more talented than you. I set myself apart by bringing more energy than they do.”

Blake certainly is bringing a hell of a lot of energy! Take a look at his Men’s Health cover below – our New Years resolution is to follow his work out routine religiously – look at those abs!
