This day was going to be a special day. We were given the opportunity to sit down with “The King Of Cool” Fonzworth Bentley and Fresh Face designer Marcus Noel at the offices of Rolling Out Magazine.

We spoke on a variety of topics with the two men ranging from music, Marcus clothing Line “Heart Of Man,” branding, the meaning of COLOURS and much more. 

Marcus Noel from The Heart Of Man is using fashion as an avenue to encourage a social movement by launching “hearts of mankind”. Marcus uses the “hearts of mankind” to revolutionize the way the world views clothing. Each quality product sold, a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to a non-profit that serves disadvantaged children and helps them fulfill their life potential and escape poverty.

Transforming style influencers into social benefactors…

Marcus’s mentor and confidant Fonzworth Bentley became affiliated with this organization because he saw this project as more than an opportunity to promote what was on his 2011 agenda but to lend his star power to increase public awareness about issues that he holds dear specifically protecting children from abuse and neglect; ensuring their access to healthcare, quality education, a moral and spiritual foundation.

Later that night, we all gathered to salute Marcus Noel a promising emerging talent. Marcus made an inspired presentation in a downtown Chicago boutique “The House Of Trend” his eye-catching blend of classic style with modern interpretations of texture, color, pattern, and the way Marcus distress his fabrics will keep him in the industry for a very long time. The event took place downstairs among guest delighted to be fulfilling their culinary and fashion palettes. The room was engulfed with an amazing energy from friends, family, media, consumers, along with champagne filled glasses and a celebrity band that rocked the house. 

By giving fashion a purpose Marcus Noel vision for “Hearts of Mankind” is to redefine giving, while creating a social philanthropic movement amongst Influencers, Tastemakers and the leaders of the Millennial generation…transforming style influencers into social benefactors.
