If you’re a true hip-hop fan, you’ve probably thought about Biggie and Tupac a thousand times.
DJ Rob Dinero and O’Neal McKnight are attempting to bring Biggie and Tupac back to life with their new concept mashup album Watching Over The Throne.
DJ Rob Dinero used tracks off Jay-Z and Kanye West’s collaborative album Watch The Throne, removed their vocals and replaced them with Biggie and Tupac verses.

Last week, GlobalGrind exclusively brought you Watching Over The Throne’s “H.A.M.” mashup. This week we’re bringing you “Otis,” which features both Biggie and Tupac’s greatest verses.
What’s most amazing about this project is that due to no available instrumentals of any of the Watch The Throne bangers, DJ Rob Dinero revealed he had to recreate every beat to make sure this project was possible.
“Watching Over The Throne” is a mixture of lyrics and verses from the two greatest MCs ever, that have been edited to go with each track based on flows, concepts and feelings in the same way Jay-Z & Kanye put the original album together.
GlobalGrind has to admit that concept mash-up albums aren’t our favorite, but this concept album has the potential to be epic.
