Now the 36-year-old Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol actress admits that getting back in shape was “cray!”

“It was really the most grueling and one of the hardest things I’ve done. I worked out for two and half hours, six days a week for a couple of months. It was so hard!”

Paula had to get in the best shape of her life just five months after giving birth to her first son, Julian Fuego, for her the new Mission: Impossible movie. She wouldn’t let the boys see her cry, even though the workouts got tough.

“You have to get past that moment of self-doubt. After a month, the wall came down and the training felt doable. It still wasn’t easy, but doable and that felt really empowering.”

Even though the movie is over, Paula still works out five days a week with her husband Robin Thicke. The happily married couple enjoys doing pilates.

Paula even expresses her joy about motherhood, now that her baby boy is talking.

“Becoming a mother is the best thing that’s happened to me,” she says. “He’s at the age where he’s talking. He’s not doing soliloquies, but he’s saying Mama, Dada, car and dog. His vocabulary is growing every day. He makes me so happy.”

She gets mad bonus points for using soliloquies in a sentence!
