In December of last year, rapper Pill aired out his label issues with Warner Bros/Maybach Music Group on Twitter and just last month he revealed he was working on parting ways with the label but insisted he has no beef with the MMG head honcho Rick Ross.

DETAILS: FAMILY FEUD! MMG’s Pill Blasts Record Label!

Now MTV has caught up with Rozay and he gave his side of the story and confirmed there is in fact no hard feelings.

Ross breaks down the situation to Sway, saying:

“I’m a real dude and I’m a real boss and once you rep the MMG flag, I’ll never step on your feet; I’mma give you a pass anyway. Pill’s situation was a special situation because he was already signed to Warner before I did my label deal at Warner. “

The boss man explains his business moves continuing:

So when I did do my deal, it was a business opportunity that was presented where Pill could run with the team for a year, I took that opportunity. That year ran its course and it was pretty much up to Warner what decisions they wanted to make with Pill as an artist after that point. I think they made it.”

Despite not being apart of the team anymore Rozay says he still wants to see Pill win telling MTV:

“Hopefully, in the future he’ll bring him a hit record, and get him some paper and do his thing,”

It’s good to see that these two can cordially go their separate ways without any beefing unlike some Hip-Hop disbandment we’ve seen in the past!
