The Daily Grind Video

Miike Snow’s video for “The Wave,” the second single off the pop trio’s sophomore album, is similar to the band itself: It’s weird, daring and it doesn’t always make sense, but damn if it isn’t entertaining.

The video starts off with some kind of meteorite or spaceship landing on the ground, causing an explosion.

The blast leaves children around the area dead. Local police officers come to collect the dead bodies, and they get confronted by a group of shirtless extraterrestrials who challenge the police officers to a dance off.

Uh…yeah. It’s weird, but we’re digging it, and it goes well with the song.

And speaking of aliens crashing to the ground, Miike Snow’s trippy sophomore album, Happy to You, just landed in stores this week.
