Shortly after being released, Ryan released a statement through his publicist Wendy Ogunsemore, which read:

I’ve made some mistakes, and have no excuses,” the statement read. “I am using the tools I’ve learned to move forward rather than backwards, and will be open to talking about the details in the days to come. I am confident that there will be further understanding when the facts are revealed, and feel very blessed for all of the support, especially from my friends and family.”

This isn’t the first time Ryan has been in trouble with the law. In 2008 he was arrested for burglarizing a player’s home while a coach at Division II West Texas A&M.

In addition, Ryan pleaded guilty to 8 felony drug charges and received 10 years probation.

We hope that Ryan goes down the right path after this incident.
