The Trayvon Martin shooting case has brought out racial ugliness at a rate we haven’t seen since the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s.

STORY: What In The?!? Ohio State University Black Cultural Center Tagged With “Long Live Zimmerman”

This past weekend we were sent the above photo, which shows a sign posted on Interstate 94 near Livernois, Detroit.

This latest racist Trayvon sign comes two days after students at the Ohio State University stumbled upon graffiti at the Frank W. Hale Jr. Black Cultural Center.

Spray painted on the side of the building were three simple words loaded with a malicious meaning: “Long Live Zimmerman.”

The controversy over Trayvon’s shooting death continues as all sides are anxiously awaiting a decision tomorrow by a special prosecutor whether to bring charges against the neighborhood watch volunteer who killed the teen.

The case could be taken up as early as Tuesday by a grand jury that is expected to convene in Seminole County, Florida.

Angela Corey, the special prosecutor, has to make one of three choices: File charges, drop the case or send it to a grand jury.

Two prosecutors are working to determine whether there was sufficient evidence to bring charges against 28-year-old George Zimmerman for the February 26 shooting in Sanford, Florida.

Corey said she has never used a grand jury to decide on charges in a justifiable homicide case.

“We do a thorough investigation. We make that decision ourselves,” she said.

It is unknown if the prosecutors have interviewed Zimmerman, however his attorneys say he is available anytime to talk to the special prosecutor.

On February 26th, 17-year-old Trayvon was shot and killed by neighborhood watchman, 28-year-old George Zimmerman. Trayvon was returning from a local 7-Eleven after buying a bag of Skittles and iced tea.

He was then spotted by Zimmerman while returning to his father’s girlfriend’s home inside their gated community. Zimmerman called 911, explaining that Trayvon, who was wearing a hoodie at the time, a pair of blue jeans, and red/white sneakers, looked suspicious.

Zimmerman pursued Trayvon even after he was told not to by the 911 dispatcher.

When Zimmerman approached Trayvon, the two got into a scuffle, resulting in Trayvon taking a bullet to the chest at point blank range.

Zimmerman claimed that he shot Trayvon on grounds of self-defense, although Trayvon was unarmed.

Since the murder of Trayvon, the entire nation has expressed outrage.

George Zimmerman has not been arrested yet as more evidence comes forward proving that his claims of self-defense were false.
