Being one of the first rappers to make a tribute song to Trayvon, Plies decided to add some visuals to go along with his tribute song.
The video features people of all backgrounds and races rocking hoodies that read “17 and unarmed” and “We are Trayvon.”
Plies took to his Twitter and presented his dedication to Trayvon saying:
After the special prosecutor in charge of overseeing the Trayvon Martin case announced she would be charging George Zimmerman with second-degree murder, Plies went on Twitter and congratulated the Martin family for the first step toward seeking justice for their murdered child.
The video is a very heartfelt dedication to Trayvon, so big ups to Plies for being big enough to do it.
Absolute 100% of the proceeds from the song go to the Trayvon Martin Foundation.
