That’s why it wasn’t really that surprising when Lil Wayne revealed that he was working on an album strictly for the ladies, during an appearance on MTV’s new late night hip-hop based talk show, Hip Hop POV.

However, what’s shocking was that not only were they songs about women, but they were LOVE songs about women.
He described it like this:
“This is my version of love songs. And what I mean by my version of love songs is meaning they’re not saying I love you. They’re probably saying…you know.”
Ahhh, so that explains it.
You see, while we might look at love as romantic restaurants, flowers and candy, Wayne has a different, more twisted interpretation of love. One that is based off disposable sex with multiple partners.
