Inspired by Trayvon Martin’s untimely death, Wyclef decided to record a song just for Trayvon entitled “Justice (If You’re 17).”

“If you’re 17 with a hoodie on, watch out for the neighborhood watcher, if you’re at the right neighborhood at the wrong time, neighborhood watcher, this might be your last call to your girlfriend, the neighborhood watcher, man I feel for you if you’re 17,” sings Wyclef Jean.

Wyclef didn’t stop at dedicating a song to Trayvon, he also joined in partnership with actor Johnathan Charles, director J. Williams, and Prescribed in their “I AM” tribute video.

In the wake of Trayvon Martin’s death, the “I AM” video addresses how racial profiling isn’t beneficial to American society or the global community.
