A soccer game was halted in the 40th minute when Yüksel Yesilova, manager of a Turkey soccer club, was stabbed six times by his brother Murat. Yüksel was stabbed one time in the stomach and five times in the hip during the attack.
Murat was immediately taken into custody and Yüksel was taken to the hospital. Hospital staff i announced the injuries were not life threatening and he was released early Tuesday morning.

According to the Turkish daily newspaper Hurriyet, in a program that aired on the private KanalTürk channel Monday night, it was alleged that Yüksel Yesilova had sexually abused Murat’s daughter-in-law.
Metin Yesilova, Murat’s son, said during the program that the allegations were the motive behind the assault. Murat told people it was because of personal issues.
Yüksel denied the allegations and reported that he made numerious complaints to the Interior Ministry that his brother wanted to harm him and his family.
