It’s that time again! Freebie Fridays is taking you down under to Sydney, Australia. Having one of the sexiest accents, Australia is one of the smallest continents that has a lot to offer. Sydney is the capital and houses one of the largest tourist areas in the world. Museums, opera houses and Darling Harbor are some of the different things that visitors love. You might not see a kangaroo hopping around, but there are a lot more interesting things to see that won’t cost you a thing. Here are two places that are sure to keep you entertained at day and night.

Visit Palm Beach:

First stop during the day is Palm Beach. Sydney is known to get hot in the summer time, so spend your days at the beach without touching your wallet. The white sand and blue ocean is what keeps this beach popular. Instead of buying food, you can pack your lunch in a cooler and bring some beach toys out with you. If you don’t have any, don’t worry! A group of friends will be playing volleyball or out on a surf board near that you can share with. The beach is the perfect place to visit while you are on vacation or just a local to relax and enjoy the scenery. Just make sure you bring lots of suntan lotion!

Visit a Live Band At Local Pub:

Sydney has a lot of night life to offer. If you want to let down your hair and have a little fun, local pubs have free nights where they offer live entertainment. There is nothing like hearing an up and coming artist for the first time. The lively vibe that goes around the pub will have you excited and dancing with the music. If you want to drink, you will have to pay, but don’t let that stop you from having a sober free time. This is one of those nights with your friends that you won’t want to forget!

Financial Tip of the Day

Coin Saver

Most people throw away their spare change or give it away. Today’s financial tip is to start saving that change in a bottle during the winter. Don’t neglect those pennies! They will accumulate and add up in the end. Save that change for an important vacation in the summer that you will like to treat yourself to. After all those months of saving change, go to your local bank and trade those coins in for cash. You’ll be looking at your spending money for your trip!
