A couple of months ago, previously unreleased The Weeknd music from 2009 started hitting the net.
The songs, while decent, were more generic sounding pop records that didn’t have that dark, quirky edge that we heard on the singer’s trilogy of classic mixtapes.

Earlier today another unreleased The Weeknd song leaked, this one called “Our Love.”
Like the other 2009 unreleased songs, “Our Love” is more of an upbeat and traditional type of record.
MUSIC: The Weeknd “Superhero” & “Cure”
There’s no talk about getting high on all types of crazy drugs or chilling out with strippers. Rather, the song, which was produced by T-Minus, is just about showing affection to a special girl.
It’s cool. But we think we’re feeling The Weeknd’s current style rather than this.
