It’s the beginning of the week and after a weekend of splurging on some much needed fun time, it’s only right that you want to enter the week on a budget. In this edition of No Money Mondays, we are taking you to Orlando, Fl, the city where dreams come true. While Disneyland may seem like every kid’s dream, but a worst nightmare for every parent’s pocket, there are several fun, exciting and most of all, free things to do in a city that will send you broke on amusement parks alone.

Visit Disney’s Boardwalk:

For a day filled with fun, free entertainment that the whole family can enjoy, take a stroll down Disney’s Boardwalk. Located along the water’s edge, boardwalk guests can take in good shopping, free live street entertainment in the evenings, jazz concerts and fire shows. The boardwalk can be a little escape from the chaos of the amusement parks and it can definitely serve as a break on your pockets from the cost of taking your whole family to the theme parks.

Financial Tip Of The Day

Bring Your Own Drinks And Snacks To Theme Parks

A huge way to save money while in Orlando, especially if you are traveling with a big family and little kids, is to bring your own drinks and snacks into the amusement parks so you don’t have to worry about making any expensive food purchases inside. Check your desired theme parks website for specifics on what food and drinks are allowed and how they should be packaged. Keep in mind that bringing your own snacks to a day full of activities is definitely rule #1 in staying true to your budget.
