The big day for Gilbert Arenas is finally here. Following his arrest for felony gun possession today was d-day for the All-Star guard. A Washington D.C. Superior Court judge sentenced Washington Wizards star Gilbert Arenas to two years probation, sparing the basketball player a jail term. Arenas will serve two years probation to begin with 30 days in a halfway house along with 400 hours of commuinty service and a $5,000 fine . So there you have it, the Washington Wizards All-Star guard will serve 30 days in a halfway house and 2 years probation, I had a feeling he wasn’t going to jail. Arenas said in court;

‘Every day, I wake up wishing it did not happen.’

But will Gilbert Arenas will be ready for the 2010-2011 NBA seasons? That remains to be seen.
