I am white. I think many of you already know that by now. I am a white, American man. The trifecta. 1, 2, 3. Like a winning lotto ticket. Not nearly as much as Money Mitt got in his off-shore bank account, but definitely the sky’s the limit when you’re a white, American man…so who knows how much that ticket is potentially worth. But, as a white guy who knows a thing or two about how other white guys think, I gotta say something about two white guys who think they can “save America.” So, white people don’t be offended by what I am about to say. This isn’t about you. This is about Mitt and Paul. Those white guys. This is their last stand to “save” – not America – but the money in their pockets.

Money Mitt ran off that battleship on Saturday to make the biggest announcement of his political career. With some Hollywood movie soundtrack playing behind him, he looked like a rich white man running off a battleship with some Hollywood movie soundtrack playing behind him. And then the moment came to announce his Robin to his Batman.  His Jerry to his Tom.  His Flava Flav to his Chuck D.  The moment had arrived to show the world what the new Republican Party will look like. The 21st century Republicans. And then ANOTHER rich white man came running off a battleship with some Hollywood movie soundtrack playing behind him.  Too bad it wasn’t a movie.

The harsh reality is that these two rich, white men believe that they have the recipe for “saving” America. A recipe cooked up by guys who are bought by corporate crooks and allowed to hide money in off-shore bank accounts and never show us their tax returns.  Just imagine if Barack Obama said he wasn’t gonna show his tax returns.  Those white guys would claim Barack was North Korean.  Sorry, I digress.

Back to the rich, white guy show on some battleship with that Hollywood soundtrack.  The Money Team talked a good rap about how they are gonna help everyone get the kind of paper they have, but that trickle-down economic plan was tried before and guess what? IT DIDN’T WORK! The rich got really, really rich, like Money Mitt and his boys and the poor got really poor. And now we got that old-philosophy, new-money tag team for Republican candidates are holding on to the America of the past. When Arizona becomes a swing state in 2016, Texas in 2020, and when Florida is no longer an option for the Republicans to win, how will they look back at this moment? As Barack Obama and Joe Biden look forward, Mitt Romney and Paper Paul Ryan still play those back-of-the-bus politics.

So, rich, white people, you got your man! A man with a plan.  A plan that will completely dismantle government as we know it, because as far as the rich, white people are concerned, they got all they could get out of it, and no one else can get what they got. Congressman Ryan after his father died was given social security money so he could go to college. But, ask him about helping young people today so they can pay for college and he will tell you, he wants to cut that.  They will raise taxes on the middle class and cut taxes on the rich and make you feel like they are helping you out. Ask him about protecting the many legal rights for women, and he will not say a word. Planned Parenthood? Cut it. Equal Pay for Women? No way.  Gay Marriage? Unconstitutional. Head Start Program? Cut it. Pell Grants? Cut it. Blacks? Nothing. Latinos? Nothing. Poor People? Nothing. Poor and White? Nothing. Seniors? Nothing. Rich People? EVERYTHING!

The Money Mitt ticket might be two good men who don’t seem dangerous after their day on their battleship, but you’re like the poison in their wholesome, rich man’s diet. Even if they can digest you, they will marginalize you and cut you right out their plan. Whatever plan they end up deciding on.  As our good friend, The Penguin aka Rush Limbaugh just said this morning, Money Mitt just added “us” to the Republican ticket. And you know like I know, exactly who “us” is. And it’s not us.
