Hi, my fellow GG fashionista’s its @julissab!

I hope you had an amazing summer. I don’t know about you guys, but I definitely feel like it went by too fast! So now time to start thinking about how you’re going to get your wardrobe ready for the chilly fall weather ahead! (Personally one of my favorite season’s to dress for :)) After seeing the beautiful Halle Berry grace the cover of Vogue’s biggest issue (September), I couldn’t wait to put together this list of ‘Must Haves’ for Fall 2010.

A Coat That ‘Wow’s’: Fall 2010 designers sent the runways a buzz with amazing coats, especially the return of the ‘Shearling’ which, in my opinion, no one did better than Christopher Bailey for Burberry Prorsum Fall 2010. The over sized collars and military inspired details are so cool you’re going to want to wear it with everything this season. We also saw a lot of fur and leather! (Of course there are some great faux fur vests and accessories you can opt for if you’re not a fan of the real thing ;)).

Get ‘Lace-y!”: One of the most exciting trends this season has got to be how cool designers have used lace. This feminine material was interpreted in so many ways! Lace is as relevant today as ever. Whether it’s Christopher Kane adding it to the mix of his ultra cool dresses or even in boots/shoes for fall. A lace blouse or detail will keep you on trend this season.

Seeing Spots!: There’s no denying one of the biggest trends this season is Leopard! Designers definitely have us seeing spots in a good way! One of my favorite ways to wear this trend is to add it to your existing wardrobe. Instead of going for the black pump or ‘little black dress’ in your wardrobe, get a cool leopard top, shoe or accessory!

‘ATTENTION!’: This season designers want you ready for combat, or at least look cool dressing as if you are. The awesome array of ‘military inspired’ looks were seen everywhere this fall. So incorporate a stand out rugged pair of boots or classic cargos to your wardrobe!

Camel Time: One of the ‘hottest’ and ‘classic’ (in my opinion) shades of brown has got to be beige! And this season we are seeing it everywhere. Have you noticed whether it’s the beige pump, pant or coat, some of the biggest designers have thrown it in the mix this season? Chloe’s Fall 2010 collection is pure ‘beige perfection’ with it’s high-waisted, flared pants and 70’s ‘Americana’ sportswear chic attitude, you can do no wrong adding this hue to your wardrobe for fall.

Full Skirts, Shaggy Coats and Hinged Bags…Oh My!: What better way to bundle up this season than in a big ol’ shaggy coat?! Well that’s what designers like Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel had in mind this season (I mean Hello! He sent full-on, furry trousers down the runway for fall). The message is clear this season- add a ‘full’ skirt, coat, studded gloves, or hinged bag to your wardrobe to make heads turn as you stay warm in the chilly weather.

Hope you’ve picked up some cool ideas for your fall wardrobe! Let’s not forget stick to the ‘trends’ that suit YOU! And have fun with fashion
