Earlier today Chris Matthews went toe-to-toe with Republican National Committee Reince Preibus, accusing him of playing the race card when Mitt Romney made a joke about Obama’s birth certificate last week.
Earlier today Newt Gingrich sat with Matthews as the Hardball host asked Gingrich about his infamous food stamp President comments.
Gingrich didn’t hold his tongue when Matthews accused him of race baiting for calling Barack Obama a “food stamp President.” Saying-
“Why do you assume food stamp refers to blacks? What kind of racist thinking do you have,”
