Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj made headlines late last night when a video surfaced of the two women having a heated argument.

VIDEO: Nicki Minaj Threatens Mariah Carey On The Set Of American Idol

Nicki Minaj turned off her sweet bubbly personality and went totally “southside Jamaica, Queens” on Mariah, who appeared to yell right back at the “Beez In The Trap” rapper.

We once thought Nicki and Mariah were friends, but it seems like any glimmer of friendship is gone.

Why do divas collaborate with each other and then diss each other later? Who knows?

Unlike hip-hop beef, diva moments never end with anyone getting hurt (maybe a few egos), but damage is usually done forever.

DETAILS: A History Of 50 Cent & Fat Joe’s Beef

GlobalGrind rounded up a few of our favorite diva showdowns. We’re warning you, don’t be surprised if you find your favorite diva involved in more than one questionable catfight.

Take a look at the most diva-licious moments below!

Madonna vs. Lady Gaga– Where do we begin with these two? Well, Madonna was one of the first pop stars to take provocative to the next level in the ’80s and early ’90s, and a decade later, Lady Gaga was the first pop star to resurrect provocative in a strikingly similar way. Unlike most people, Madonna doesn’t think imitation is a form of flattery, it actually pisses her off.

Madonna and Gaga have been going back and forth, calling each other names like “reductive copycat” and “menopausal mom.” The beef hasn’t been buried between these two, but we’re hoping when Lady Gaga is old and Madonna is very old, they’ll bury the hatchet.

Pink vs. Christina Aguilera– These two didn’t really have a problem with each other, that is until they started working together. Missy Elliott gathered Pink, Christina Aguilera, Mya, and Lil Kim to remake Patti LaBelle’s classic “Lady Marmalade” in 2001. During Pink’s VH1 Behind The Music special, she revealed Christina’s people demanded the “Genie In A Bottle” songstress sing the highest notes and the “best part.”

Pink fought back and the diva catfight began. Pink and Christina eventually called a truce, but things have never been the same since. When Christina Aguilera got arrested some 10 years later, Pink tweeted some not so nice things about Ms. Aguilera and her love for cervezas:

“Out of Myself, Britney, and Christina—didn’t everyone think I was gonna be the troublemaker? LOOK MA!!! No CUFFS!!”

Jessica Simpson vs. Carrie Underwood- Now, many people are probably wondering why a pop star and a country star would be fighting? Well, if you guessed it was over a man, you are right. Jessica and Carrie both dated Dallas Cowboy’s quarterback Tony Romo. Rumors began swirling that Jessica Simpson was extremely jealous of Tony’s seemingly perfect ex Carrie Underwood, causing a melee of mean words being fired to each other through the media.

Jessica even wore a shirt that read, “real girls eat meat,” which was perceived as a dig at the vegetarian country star. The women later peaced it up, especially since they both have moved on with their lives.

Madonna vs. Mariah Carey– Mariah and Madonna have been around for a long time in the world of music, and well, these divas have never been the ones to hold their tongues. In 1995, Madonna told a journalist that she didn’t think Mariah Carey was “bright.” Madonna didn’t stop there with the disses, the “Vogue” singer went on the say:

“I’d rather kill myself than to be Mariah Carey.”

Mariah Carey fired back at Madonna, stating:

“I really haven’t paid much attention to Madonna since like 7th or 8th grade, you know, when she used to be popular.”

Aretha Franklin Vs. Tina Turner– These heavyweight singers pull no punches when it comes to insults. Aretha Franklin wasn’t too happy when Beyonce referred to Tina Turner as “the queen” during a Grammy tribute. Aretha Franklin called the comment a “cheap shot for controversy.”

In an interview for USA Today, Tina Turner addressed the “controversy” by clarifying her “queen” title:

“She’s the queen of soul, and I’m the queen of rock ‘n’ roll. There were so many kings and queens there that night. Her ego must be so big to think she was the only one.”

Aretha Franklin didn’t find Tina’s comment amusing and she fired back:

“Clearly was talking about herself…I never figured her to resort to tacky press just to sell a few tickets.”

Christina Aguilera vs. Kelly Osbourne– These two divas go to war when it comes to dissing each other. Kelly Osbourne’s gig on E! Network’s Fashion Police has made her friends and lost her friends. After she called Christina Aguilera fat (multiple times), Christina Aguilera fired back at the former fat socialite stating:

“She must have a crush on me because every five minutes she’s saying something about me. “I did see her at a club and said, ‘Look, what is your problem?’ And she had nothing to say. If you’re going to talk sh*t about me, do it to my face, because if you don’t back it up you’re just talking out of your ass.”

Anita Baker vs. Jill Scott– When divas were all set to unite, Anita and Jill were involved in a heated fight. During VH1’s Divas Celebrate Soul special, R&B singers Jill Scott and Anita Baker got into a showdown over Anita’s “Sweet Love.” Anita and Jill were all set to perform a duet of “Sweet Love,” but Jill was not happy she had to sing the classic love ballad’s second verse. Jill decided she didn’t want to perform the duet the day of, leaving producers to find Anita a new duet partner. Singer Ledisi ended up replacing Jill Scott and the show went on.

Courtney Love vs. Lily Allen– These two are unlikely rivals, but Courtney and Lily got into it and it almost came to blows. Annoyed with Lily Allen for holding multiple Chanel dresses during the NME Awards, Courtney and Lily got in a shouting match over fashion. Lily Allen called Courtney a “crazy old lady,” and Courtney Love took it to the next level and accused Lily of stealing her daughter, Frances Bean’s sunglasses, and called her the infamous “F” word: fat.
