Rock band Creed’s frontman Scott Stapp has been to hell and back, but he’s back and he’s sharing his story.

NEW VIDEO: Rick Ross & T.I. “Bury Me A G”

Scott Stapp is writing a memoir, Sinner’s Creed, about the highs of celebrity and most definitely the lows of celebrity, including his failed suicide attempt.

A few years back, Scott Stapp checked himself in Miami’s luxury hotel the Delano and went on a drug and alcohol binge that lasted for three days.

Eventually the drugs and alcohol began to take over his mind and body, causing Scott to start hallucinating to the point of suicidal thoughts.

Scott eventually jumped off the hotel balcony, falling 40 feet to the ground. Scott laid outside injured with a broken hip, broken nose, and fractured skull for almost three hours, before rapper T.I. miraculously showed up.

Scott explains:

“My guardian angel showed up, rapper T.I., he immediately took care of the situation and saved my life….As I’m laying on the ledge, blood fell to [T.I.’s] feet and he looked up and he had an Alabama hat on and I said, ‘Roll tide, and then he looked at me and put two and two together and really saved my life.”

T.I. said he couldn’t let another man attempt to take his life and he just sit back, so he stepped in to save Scott.

“Nothing in life is worth taking your life. I’m here to help you. Please come down to talk to me,” T.I. recalled.

We’re glad Scott’s life is in a better place, and we’re glad the King Of The South was there to save the day.
